Greek Night
A mezze consists of a number of dishes served to your table for you to share; there are a wide variety of flavours and textures to suit every palette. Your waitress will explain each dish and course as it is served:
Dips
- Taramousalata (Cod roe and lemon)
- Houmus (Chick pea and garlic)
- Tzatsiki (Greek yogurt, lemon and cucumber)
- Pitta bread
Appetisers
- Keftedes (Beef meatballs)
- Haloumi (Fried greek cheese)
- Laukanika (Cypriot Pork sausage)
- Spanachopites (Filo parcels with feta and spinach)
Fish course
- Kalamari (Deep fried battered squid)
- Saganaki (mixed prawns in a tomato sauce with melted feta)
Main course
- Sauvlaki (chicken grilled with onion and lemon)
- Stifado (slow cooked beef stew with onions and mushrooms)
- Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves with minced beef)
- Greek Salad
- Oregano and lemon roasted potatoes

We were also impressed with your cocktail making skills with a very limited and random selection of spirits!! It was a very relaxed evening and you catered for our every need, including the much appreciated Greek Dancing lesson! We will definitely use Thyme for future events.”

Here is an example of our seafood catering menu – please call for more information on this menu or if you’d like any particular items not on the list.
Starters
- Carpaccio of tuna with rocket and parmesan salad
- Steamed clams with pernod and fennel
- Pan fried king prawns in lemon and garlic
- Rolled crab meat wrapped in smoked salmon with a trio of pesto
- Smoked haddock and green pea carbonara
Main Courses
- Seared sea bream fillets with brown shrimp served with a lemon and dill linguine
- Half a lobster pan fried in garlic butter and champagne served on a bed of scallopini potatoes scattered with baby prawns
- Grilled tilapia with a lime and chilli salsa served with roasted peppers and saffron risotto
- Poached Monkfish in a creamy mussel and clam broth served with asparagus spears
- Seared Scallops with a chorizo, cherry tomato and basil salad
Italian
Starters
- Selection of bruschettas with olives and Italian cheese board
Main Courses
- Capelini Scoglio – Capelini pasta with a sauce of fresh crab meat and lobster tails saute in olive oil, garlic and chilli
- Fileto Rossini – Tender filet steak stuffed with pate and wrapped in pancetta, served with a port sauce with oven roasted vegetables
- Milanzane Parmeggiano – Baked Aubergine stuffed with a vegetable risotto and topped with Mozzarella cheese severed with a side of tagliatelle
Desserts
- Classic Tiramisu
- Amaretto panna cotta
Mexican
Starters
- Selection of salsas and dips served with Mexican bread
Appetizer
- Selection of Quesadillas
Main Course
- Your choice of tacos and burritos served with Mexican rice, refried beans and Guacamole
